Eric Butcher holds a BSc (Honours) in Mechanical Electrical engineering from the University of Veracruz, associated to the National University of Mexico (UNAM), having graduated in 1969. Since then he has participated in a continuous line of industrial and infrastructure projects that extend from film manufacturing plants, power plants ( nuclear, geothermal, hydroelectric and CCPP, as well as steel plants, mining installations, ports, oil and gas related projects, pipelines, and others
In over 50 years of activity, Eric Butcher has been active and involved in diverse multi-million-dollar projects in many parts of the world, with an emphasis on Africa, Latin America and other emerging markets, where he directed or played a highly relevant role in their success. . He has participated in diverse roles in projects located in Latin America, the USA, Africa and the MENA and GCC Regions.
Amongst his other past activities and roles he has been Technical Subdirector of SICARTSA the Mexican integrated iron and steel plant on the Pacific Coast of that country and Director of Financed Projects for the Mexican Federal Electricity Commission until 1999, when he returned to private enterprise. His clients have, amongst others, been the Ministry of Finance in Mexico , the Mexican Mint and the Exportadora de Sal JV between the Mexican government and Mitsubishi Corporation. His associates have been well known companies and advisors from many parts of the World.
He is fluent in Spanish and acceptable Italian. He is a Life Member of the ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers), a Freeman of the City of London and a member of London City Livery Companies as well as other institutions.
His primary expertise is related to conceptualization of projects, coordination of contractors and the different entities and companies involved in project development, financing and execution. Overall he has participated or been responsible for over eight billion USD in investment projects over his career.
Alex J Arthur is qualified as a mechanical engineer and has held many executive positions and roles within the construction industry, both in the UK, and in International markets. In acting within these roles his responsibilities have encompassed both partner and senior partner positions in large firms of Consulting Engineers, as Chairman and Chief Executive of a major Contracting company, and for the past twenty years he has operated as the Chief Executive of BNB Group a self-owned company, which specialises in property and infrastructure development. This experience has encompassed leading teams both in the United Kingdom and Overseas, directing the development of advanced research in specialist areas such a semi -conductor manufacture, data centres, power stations (Gas, Solar, Waste regeneration) sweet water generation, process engineering project management and construction management within individual projects.
Some relevant international projects.
- Cote d'Ivoire: :Advisor to the Ministry of Telecommunications, on realising a new cellular telecommunications system. And, worked in partnership with others to realise all necessary buildings, transmitting stations, telecommunications hardware, and including the funding package.
- The People's Republic of Yemen : Advised the government on inner city regeneration, and the master planning of the port of Aden. This involved leading and appointing teams from Europe and the United States, in preparing and structuring the necessary master planning documentation, individual development schemes, and necessary guarantees from the government for the realisation of same.
- Ghana: Advised the government, Ministry of Tourism, for the realisation of tourist hotels on the Western Coast, and a conference convention centre in Accra.
- Cameroon, developed three slaughterhouses, for the processing and canning of meat in joint venture with the government. This involved international and World Bank funding.
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: with Western – Bell Ericson. Microwave project, country wide infrastructure for main telephone system.
- Iran: Gas injection stations Gachsaran – Bibi Hakimeh, oil and gas refineries.
- Algeria: Sonatrach. Gas processing, LPG export plant.

Owner and CEO of TRITONI SA, a Swiss independent company that engages in the business of international finance and consulting services in the typical fashion of a private merchant bank. Project Development and Financing, Assets Recovery, Debt Restructuring, Asset Trading, and Trade Finance are the main activities. The company is the successor to Conseil Alain Aboudaram SA, founded in 1974.
Alain Aboudaram is also Honorary General Consul of the Republic of Costa Rica and a former Ambassador at large in Kenya, Libya and Nigeria.
In its +40 years of activity, Alain Aboudaram has been active on many multi-million-dollar transactions and projects in many parts of the world, with an emphasis on Africa, Latin America and other emerging markets, where he directed or played a highly relevant role in their success; those including:
- Rio Paute Dam Project in Ecuador
- Development of Electrical Facilities related to the Tana River Development in Kenya
- Development of Power Stations in Argentina, Colombia and Mexico
- Financing of various hydroelectric projects in Nigeria
As part of its activities, Alain Aboudaram also fulfilled different functions in the Financial Sector:
- President and Senior Shareholder of the Keyser Ullman (Suisse) Bank in Geneva (1982- 1985), which he restructured and sold as a profitable business entity in 1987
- Co-Management with BNP of the first Bond Issue of the Government of Costa Rica - $20 million in 1977
- Advisor to the Executive Committee of Banco Portugues do Atlántico (1989 – 1996)
- Financial Advisor to the Italian conglomerate Impregilo, one of the World's most renowned designers and builders of dams and hydroelectric plants.
- Consultant to the Viet Nam Government for setting-up an institution in Switzerland to manage the money transfers of the Vietnamese diaspora.
- Special Advisor to the President and Board Member of a large Indian oil and gas Company, quoted on the Indian stock exchange: Promoted, developed and financed the 1’450 Km Khanda Batinda pipeline
- Advisor to a large Czech industrial group for its financial restructuring (1990-1995)
Prior to this, Alain Aboudaram acted as Delegate for Latin America of the Société Continentale de Gestion Financière, a consortium finance house organized by Continental Grain, Indosuez Bank and Banque Bruxelles Lambert (1967-1974).
Alain Aboudaram is frequently invited to meetings of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos and elsewhere, as well as to Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and to those of the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB), the African Development Bank (ADB) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
He started his business career as an Executive in a family owned Textile Company (1958-1967) and has worked in different countries of Latin America, Africa and Europe during his professional life. Alain Aboudaram is a 1958 Graduate of the HEC University of Lausanne. He has lived in Argentina, Nigeria and Switzerland. He currently lives and works out of Lausanne. Other than his French mother tongue, he is fluent in English, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese.
